I really want a pair of roller skates. I would find a reason to roller skate everywhere...to the grocery store...to the drug store...to bars...

First of all, I love the color of the wheels. If a mermaid could wish for legs, she would then promptly go out and buy these to skate with.
Secondly, I'm such a hypocrite- I'm an adrenaline junkie who is uber-protective when it comes to every activity I let my kids participate in. When I look at roller blades I get visions of broken necks and spoon-feeding them pudding for the rest of their lives.
So I love old-fashioned roller skates. Those four wheels look stable enough that they allow me to forget all the broken bones I witnessed growing up and watching my friends skate down hills.
from the site:
On a roll? Rolling with your homies? Roll over? Rock and roll? Roll call? Rick roll? OMG, we're so excited we barely know where to start because we LOVE roller skates! So much fun!
And these are the real thing: rich leather uppers, complete with padding at the ankles and a quick lace system; aluminum trucks with nylon bushings; lightweight gripping urethane wheels. High performance and retro good looks.
They're a magical once-in-a-lifetime couples-only skate waiting to happen! Lace up and roll out!
Imported. Spot clean.

Have you got the oversized headphones? The lava lamp? The bean bag chair? The last thing on your list of 70s-cool paraphernalia is the super cool roller-rink inline skates! They were pretty much the coolest thing when you were five, and, guess what? They never lost any of their street cred since.
