Black Sand For Displays

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

I love black sand. I have it in my house, complete with some votive candles, tucked into a square vase with seashells from my home town beach, Ocean City maryland. I cheated, and added a few really nice TEENY starfish from a local store there, but it looks so awesome.

:)

low glass bowls for table top arrangements, floating candles, sand and candles, etc...

First to recommend

Description

Incredibly cheap, so great for weddings, parties, events, your own table!

Get a few of these, fill with sand and seashells, and a few of your favorite small candles. Or even votives... maybe a flower or two, some driftwood, a bit of moss?

Or for an evening event in the dark, float some candles in water in them for serious sparkle...

At $7 each, these are an incredible steal! You can grow your own grass in these (so easy to do for you people out there with black thumbs!!!) and have nature inside with you...

Love the modern feel.

Six Cubby Wall Storage Unit

Description

Only do the espresso color, here, guys.

This thing is a thing of beauty to me. Frankly, it could work its way right through every phase of your (or your kids') life... The drawers on the bottom anchor the shape of this in such a great proportion, allowing the symmetry of the baskets and boxes to gracefully climb up to the fun stuff up top...

This functions for a child's room, a teen's room, and works its way right into being a beautiful display area in a living room or a library wall storage unit. Would seriously help in a room with minimal closet storage!!

Porthole Mirror

First to recommend

Description

Using a porthole mirror is a fun way to play with your guests walking through your home. I love to hang them at eye-height, so your guests will make eye contact with themselves as a part of their journey through your home.

Even more fun is to tuck one into a wall hanging of photos and artwork. It's very intriguing to most people to "see themselves" as a part of your art landscape. I did this with a client who combined sketch art with paintings and even a photograph or two, with a brass porthole mirror in the mix. It is also faintly reminiscent of a ship... You could do a few of them in a row to mimic windows!

Menu Organizer Kit

2 people recommended this item

Description

Clever, clever! Tuck away those sacred Take Out menus so you don't have to cook every night.

Also, since I manage a lot of moves, this makes a fantastic gift for your clients as they move into a new area. If you have an hour or two, cruising around town and collecting the menus for the best restaurants (hello, yelp!) is an awesome, thoughtful gift. You can even ask if they have any deals, coupons, or new neighbor specials!
